Gecko Hospitality - Don Hutcheson is seeking a Restaurant General Manager for a brand-new Quick Service Restaurant opening in Phoenix, AZ. You will build the team, set the operating tone, and establish standards from day one.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of GM experience in QSR/fast-casual environments, with a proven ability to hire, develop, and retain strong teams. You will own the P&L and drive food quality, guest service, and profitability in a high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience as a General Manager in a quick-service or fast-casual restaurant environment.
• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining strong teams.
• Strong understanding of P&L management, labor cost control, and inventory.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including staffing, scheduling, and shift management.
• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a strong team from the ground up as part of the new restaurant opening.
• Own the P&L, managing food costs, labor, and overall profitability.
• Set and uphold standards for food quality, cleanliness, and guest service.
• Build a culture on the floor that reflects the brand’s values and keeps the team engaged.
• Handle guest concerns quickly and effectively, turning feedback into action.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food handling regulations.
• Monitor inventory and vendor relationships to minimize waste and control costs.
• Partner with the District Manager on business goals, promotions, and community engagement.
