Job summary

Paylocity in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Brand & Marketing Intern to strengthen Paylocity’s message across online channels. You will work with experienced marketing professionals on customer stories, content, PR, and digital campaigns.

Qualifications

• Education relevant to marketing, communications, PR, journalism, business or multimedia with expected graduation date Dec 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Experience with social media platforms, content creation, or marketing projects through coursework, internships or personal projects.
• Ability to work independently while seeking guidance when needed.
• Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and adapting to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support marketing campaigns and initiatives across channels incl. email, social, web, and customer communications.
• Assist with development, organization, and promotion of customer stories and testimonials.
• Help monitor online review platforms such as G2, TrustRadius, and Gartner communications.
• Assist with content creation, editing, and proofreading for blogs, emails, presentations, social media, and materials.
• Find and vet existing clients for reference, promotion, and case study partnership.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, customers, and market opportunities.
• Support Social Media, CI, and PR teams with new content and ideas around customer quotes.
• Organize and maintain marketing assets, success stories, and content repositories.
• Collaborate with the SEO team to improve AI search results and citations from reviews.
• Support cross-team collaboration emphasizing client voice and experience.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions for new campaigns and programs.
• Provide general project and administrative support to the marketing team.
