Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Brand Director to shape the strategic direction of the Meijer brand across corporate, product and store levels, ensuring consistency and driving sales and loyalty. You will partner with Merchandising, Brand Planning, Digital and Production to execute brand projects on time.

The role leads cross-functional teams, sets brand guidelines, mentors OBLs, and oversees packaging and marketing spend to deliver measurable growth and customer engagement across Own Brand initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years management experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate with others, set priorities and meet deadlines.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence at all levels.
• Strong project management and multi-tasking ability.

Responsibilities

• Develops and directs branding initiatives aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead collaboration with Merchant Partners on core Merchandising elements related to Own Brand.
• Provide coaching, direction and leadership support to OBLs to build functional expertise.
• Escalates brand awareness and maintain a positive, consistent corporate brand image.
• Leads cross-functional teams to ensure brand voice consistency across all creative relative to product.
• Responsible for executing and delivering results with marketing spend for specific brand responsibilities.
• Oversee and enable approval process for brand projects ensuring brand consistency.
