Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Store Director to lead daily operations, drive sales, and uphold our service standards across a multi-unit retail environment. You will translate financial data into action, mentor leaders, and ensure staffing, safety, and merchandising excellence to meet goals.

In this role you will partner with the local community, maintain high standards for customer service, and develop a strong, capable team to deliver an outstanding shopping experience for Meijer customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent retail experience.
• 5 years of retail/service experience.
• 3 years of leadership experience including managing leaders.
• 3+ years of retail leadership with GM and Grocery/Fresh experience preferred.
• Experience leading retail/service operation with $40M+ annual sales.
• Ability to receive and maintain licenses required for the store's operations.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sales while maintaining fiscal responsibility.
• Provide excellent customer service across store operations.
• Mentor and coach team members and leaders.
• Staff the store with trained team members and develop them.
• Maintain corporate, safety, and regulatory procedures.
• Cultivate community relationships to support the Meijer brand.
