Job description

As the Brand Manager for THE Hair Edit, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our brand strategy. This role is instrumental in defining the brand’s voice, driving innovation, and enhancing market presence. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you’ll ensure the brand's seamless integration across digital platforms and major retailers. Key Accountabilities:

Brand Voice and Content:

  1. Develop and maintain a consistent brand voice across all communication channels.
  2. Lead the creation of compelling brand content, including overseeing product and model photo shoots tailored to social media and e-commerce needs.
  3. Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and messaging.

Brand Vision and Strategy:

  1. Identify growth opportunities and develop strategies for brand differentiation.
  2. Monitor industry trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  3. Analyze market and competitors; monitor performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
  4. Align brand strategy with overall business goals while managing budgets effectively.
  5. Develop and present internal strategies through the Marketing and Innovation Gate Process.
  6. Develop integrated marketing plans across digital, retail, and other channels.
  7. Work closely with channel heads to align brand initiatives.
  8. Optimize customer touchpoints to enhance brand experience through the right campaigns and promotions.
  9. Work hand in hand with the team to develop merchandising for in-store secondary placements.
  10. Lead brand and innovation presentations for key retail partners.
  11. Identify need gaps and opportunities and propose a strategic pipeline of innovation to drive brand’s growth in collaboration with the innovation manager.
  12. Contribute to the product development process in collaboration with the innovation manager.
  13. Develop and manage artworks for new products.

Go-to-Market (GTM) and Integrated Monthly Marketing Calendar:

  1. Lead activation meetings across cross-functional teams.
  2. Develop GTM strategies for product launches and seasonal campaigns.
  3. Lead and manage PR campaigns and events.
  4. Create and manage monthly marketing calendar with themes, promotions, and events.

Ensure seamless execution across channels.

Language Skills:

Ability to communicate effectively in English, in writing and orally. Ability to present information to customers and management.

Computer Skills:

Proficiency in Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint with advanced abilities in Excel, Internet software, BaseCamp; ability to navigate an AS400 ERP environment.

Logistics:

Office hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Chicago/Mt. Prospect offices). Position is remote and eligible for flex hours. Position is expected to travel a small percentage of the time, including occasional weekends and overseas travel.
