Job summary

Jobtailor in Redondo Beach, CA, is seeking a detail‑oriented Merchandising & Licensing Associate to analyze sales data by channel, support go‑to‑market initiatives, and manage licensee relationships.

You will collaborate with marketing, PR, legal, and business development, maintain forecasting inputs and calendars, and drive timely product approvals, assets, and royalty reporting.

Job description

• Request and analyze sales and forecast reporting by channel and account, and circulate internal business updates
• Share successes and opportunities across the partner portfolio and identify opportunities to drive business results
• Assist with execution of global go-to-market strategies
• Maintain and update store distribution lists, active categories, and retailer footprints
• Track Amazon partner performance, including ad spend and PDP execution
• Identify business opportunities with the Brand Director, VP, and Marketplace team
• Procure and enter monthly and quarterly actuals and projections in corporate files
• Support licensee payment follow-up
• Manage the overall business management of a subset of brand licensees with guidance from the Director/VP
• Own agendas and monthly/quarterly touch bases and drive strategies through execution
• Conduct online and in-store market research and prepare presentations and pitch decks
• Collaborate with marketing, PR, creative, legal, and business development teams
• Maintain merchandising inputs for marketing launch calendars
• Build and maintain time-and-action calendars and alert stakeholders about timeline delays
• Manage product approvals, go-to-market assets, showrooms, and samples with licensees
• Provide trademark proof of usage and coordinate with the legal team
• Maintain trackers for partner contracts and terms
• Support the Royalty Zone compliance process and related reporting and records
• Schedule and own agendas for internal touch bases, business reviews with licensees, and partner design meetings

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in retail merchandising and/or licensing
