Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a friendly, team-oriented Bakery Clerk to greet guests and provide excellent service. You will prepare products for sale, decorate and price items, and maintain quality and cleanliness across the bakery area.

Responsibilities include rotating stock, reading dates on icings, using the cake production sheet, and assisting with front porch duties. You will work closely with management to meet sales and guest satisfaction goals.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Good communication and guest service skills.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand directions and information.
• Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to work with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.
• Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• When requested perform bakery clerk functions.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Keep area supplies organized and rotated; rotate icings and read dates.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
