Job summary

Rothy’s is seeking a part-time Retail Ambassador in Short Hills, NJ to deliver exceptional customer experiences on the sales floor, embody our brand values, and drive sales through friendly, informed service.

You’ll help with store maintenance, welcome customers, and participate in a team-driven culture. Availability for at least 16 hours per week on Peak Days (Fri–Sun + holidays) or a 2-peak + 2-non-peak schedule is required; you must be able to stand and lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine customer connections.
• Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
• Availability to work at least 16 hours/week with Peak Days (Fri–Sun + holidays) or 2 Peak Days + 2 Non-Peak Days.
• Ability to stand for the entire shift and lift up to 25 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Rothy’s Experience on the sales floor with brand-aligned service.
• Drive personal sales and contribute to team goals.
• Engage in clienteling to create lasting customer relationships.
• Support store operations including merchandising and cleanliness.
