The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Content Creation/Campaign Manager for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in New York, NY. Details for the position are as follows:
Job Description:
- $69.00 - $79.00 /HR based on experience!
- 6-month contract (based on performance/budget) (Hybrid position)
- We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary content and campaign strategist to step into a key leadership role. This person will be responsible for leading all consumer-facing brand content and campaign strategy. The ideal candidate must have a proven track record of successfully delivering brand campaigns and content across a variety of platforms, from social media to e-commerce and merchandising.
Responsible for:
- Campaign & Content Strategy
- Lead and own the full campaign strategy and execution across all consumer touchpoints including product launches, brand storytelling, and seasonal activations.
- Craft the 360° activation plan from product briefs, outlining content needs across owned, earned, and paid channels.
- Translate consumer insights into compelling content strategies and campaign concepts.
- Develop creative briefs aligned with brand strategy and consumer insights, clearly outlining vision, target, unique selling proposition (USP), and KPIs.
- Creative Direction & Collaboration
- Partner with internal teams and creative agencies to bring campaigns and content to life—from concept through execution.
- Oversee creative ideation and direction for all owned content including social media, web, product displays, e-commerce, and digital merchandising.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional partners including product marketing, digital, PR, and retail merchandising to ensure consistency and alignment across platforms.
- Manage the social media team (internal or agency), ensuring alignment of strategy and tone of voice.
- Execution & Oversight
- Oversee and manage content production budgets; ensure content delivery is on-time, on-brief, and within budget.
- Ensure all content complies with brand guidelines, legal claims, and regulatory standards, partnering with R&I, Legal, and CMI where necessary.
- Track campaign KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize live campaigns and inform future planning.
- Ensure the voice of the consumer is reflected in every piece of content by working with drive markets to validate creative and gather ongoing insights.
- Leadership & Autonomy
- Operate independently with minimal onboarding, bringing an established point of view, experience, and clarity to all initiatives.
- Collaborate effectively across functions while also driving initiatives autonomously with confidence and a results-oriented mindset.
- Serve as a thought leader within the team—helping shape the future of the brand's content approach.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelors degree required.
- Portfolio required demonstrating past work in campaign leadership, graphic design, video editing, and multi-channel content creation.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a content/campaign role, ideally in the beauty, cosmetics, fashion, or lifestyle industries.
- Strong background in graphic design, video editing, and/or content creation.
- Experience managing and executing across all major marketing channels (digital, social, email, print).
- Working knowledge of SEO principles and ability to apply them to content strategies.
- Detail-oriented with a creative eye and strategic thinking.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
