The Payer Engagement Specialist II - Remote is responsible for providing administrative support for all payer engagement notifications, such as new clinics, relocations, closures, TIN updates, and acquisitions. This position also supports daily operations, completes payer forms, sends weekly provider bulletins, and performs various data verification activities as assigned.

Your Impact

  • Notify payers of any Hanger Clinic changes; such as, address, tax ID, Medicaid numbers
  • Work within Salesforce system to ensure data integrity
  • Update provider information transmitted to payers
  • Create and manage work in Salesforce cases and review regularly with manager or designee
  • Distribute customized provider directories for payers
  • Complete payer forms for demographic changes
  • Create cases for credentialing team to add new clinics to payers
  • Confirm, track, and submit updates to Hanger billing system
  • Review, complete, and return quarterly payer verification forms
  • Monitor payer correspondence depository and disseminate information
  • Produce reports and handle ad hoc assignments

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3 years of provider servicing/customer service experience
  • Healthcare experience

Pay range of $17.75 to $22.00 per hour + annual bonus (up to 5% of base pay). Salary varies based on skills, location, and other factors.
