Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Brand & Digital Marketer to drive the global brand strategy and digital marketing initiatives for 3M Thinsulate and Scotchgard, two leading brands in the functional apparel & footwear manufacturing industry. This role will be based in Hong Kong and will report directly to the APAC Business Manager. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, particularly within the apparel & footwear industry, and will be responsible for enhancing brand visibility, consumer engagement, and market penetration in key regions, especially Europe and the Americas.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Global Brand Strategy and digital adoption:
    Develop and implement comprehensive digital marketing strategies to enhance the global brand presence of 3M Thinsulate and Scotchgard. Oversee the creation and execution of digital content, including website optimization, marketing campaigns, and digital advertising to drive brand awareness and engagement.
    Lead digital marketing efforts in key markets (Europe and the Americas) with a focus on social media platforms.
    Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand exposure, consumer engagement, and brand recognition.
    Monitor and analyze social media trends and consumer feedback to continuously improve brand interactions and content strategies.
  2. Content Creation and Management:
    Oversee the creation of high-quality digital content, including videos, blogs, infographics, and social media posts that align with brand values and marketing objectives.
    Manage the content calendar to ensure consistent and timely publication across all digital channels.
    Conduct in-depth research on industry insights to inform content strategy and ensure relevance.
    Ensure content performance exceeds industry standards in terms of engagement and effectiveness.
  3. Joint Marketing Initiatives with Key Apparel & Footwear Brand Customers:
    Collaborate with key apparel & footwear brand customers in Europe and the Americas to develop and execute co-branded marketing campaigns.
    Manage joint promotional activities, including digital campaigns, events, and content collaborations to enhance brand visibility and drive sales.
  4. Market Research and Consumer Insights:
    Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, consumer preferences, and competitive dynamics in the functional apparel & footwear market.
    Utilize data analytics tools to track campaign performance, consumer engagement metrics, and market feedback to inform strategic decisions.
  5. Budget Management:
    Develop and manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources to achieve maximum ROI.
    Monitor campaign performance and adjust budgets as needed to optimize results.

Qualifications:

  1. Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably within the apparel or consumer goods industry.
  2. Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  3. Skills and Competencies:
    • Proven track record in developing and executing successful digital marketing campaigns.
    • Strong understanding of social media platforms, digital advertising, and content management.
    • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive decision-making.
    • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
    • High level of self-motivation, proactivity, and a strong team spirit.
    • Fluency in English is required, with additional language skills being an advantage.
