Blackbaud is seeking a Senior Manager, Brand Content & Thought Leadership to shape how our brand shows up through ideas, insights, perspectives, and stories. The role owns the brand narratives and integrated content strategy to strengthen our market position.

Reporting to the Head of Brand Marketing, this leader will guide a team spanning thought leadership, Institute research, customer storytelling, and owned channels. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and strategic impact.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in content marketing, thought leadership, editorial strategy, or related disciplines.
• Experience leading high-performing content teams and cross-functional initiatives.
• Demonstrated success developing brand narratives and integrated content strategies.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Understanding of content performance, SEO, GEO, AEO, and emerging AI-enabled content strategies.

Responsibilities

• Own and shape brand narratives and integrated content and thought leadership strategy.
• Lead Blackbaud Institute research and publications, customer storytelling, and editorial content.
• Oversee editorial strategy for ENGAGE, the ENGAGE Podcast, and owned channels.
• Ensure alignment of content themes and publishing priorities across the organization.
• Establish content governance, standards, and editorial best practices.
• Drive discoverability, AI-driven content trends, and content engineering across teams.
