The Brand & Content Marketing Coordinator contractor role in Burbank, CA will support the development and execution of brand and content marketing initiatives for a streaming service. Reporting into the VP of Brand Marketing, this role will help bring integrated brand and content campaigns to life by supporting campaign planning, cross-functional coordination, creative development, and operational execution.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • This position will support the Brand Marketing team across campaign planning, project management, creative development, and cross-functional coordination, working closely with partners across Creative, Content/Programming, Media, Social, PR, Consumer Insights, Partnerships, and Production to help ensure brand and content campaigns are organized, informed, and executed successfully.
Brand & Content Campaign Planning & Execution
  • Support the execution of TV brand campaigns, content marketing initiatives, and tentpole marketing programs (e.g., seasonal brand moments, title launches)
  • Assist marketing leads with campaign planning, timelines, approvals, and deliverables across both brand and content workstreams.
  • Coordinate the trafficking and distribution of creative assets, campaign materials, and marketing updates across internal teams and agency partners.
  • Help maintain campaign calendars, workbacks, trackers, and status documents.
  • Ensure campaign materials and key information are organized and distributed to appropriate stakeholders.
  • Support brand and content campaign launches by ensuring teams have the information and materials needed for successful execution.
Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Partner with teams across Creative, Content/Programming, Media, Social, PR, Consumer Insights, Partnerships, and Production to support brand and content campaign initiatives.
  • Schedule meetings and coordinate logistics for team and cross-functional discussions.
  • Capture meeting notes, document action items, and track follow-ups across stakeholder groups.
  • Maintain clear communication across teams to help ensure projects remain organized and on schedule.
  • Support information sharing and collaboration across domestic and international marketing teams.
Project Management & Operations
  • Maintain key campaign documents, calendars, trackers, presentations, and status reports.
  • Organize and manage shared marketing resources, reference materials, and project documentation.
  • Assist in the development of presentations, planning documents, executive updates, and campaign recaps.
  • Maintain team files, archives, and shared drives to ensure materials are easily accessible.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to the Brand Marketing team as needed.
Research & Performance Analysis
  • Conduct competitive research, industry analysis, and trend monitoring (brand and content trends across streaming/FAST) to help inform marketing strategies and campaign planning.
  • Assist in gathering campaign performance data and key insights from cross-functional teams.
  • Support the development of campaign recaps and post-campaign analyses, documenting learnings and recommendations.
  • Stay informed on entertainment, streaming, media, and consumer trends to help identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Experience creating well organized and visually appealing presentations for an executive level audience
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, entertainment, media, advertising, or a related field, including internships and coordinator-level experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Positive attitude, intellectual curiosity, and willingness to learn.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications, including PowerPoint, Excel, Google Slides, and Google Sheets.
Preferred
  • Experience supporting brand or content marketing campaigns, ideally with media execution exposure.
  • Experience within entertainment, streaming, media, advertising, or consumer brands.
  • Familiarity with project management and collaboration tools such as Airtable, Monday.com, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI tools like Claude, and openness to incorporating them into workflows to increase efficiency.
  • Interest in the FAST (Free Ad-Supported Streaming TV) space.
