Job summary

Carter’s is seeking a Sales Associate to be the first face of the brand for growing families. You will greet customers, introduce baby essentials, and assist with school readiness, while enjoying a supportive, inclusive work environment that values growth and development.

You’ll balance a busy retail floor, handle POS transactions, and participate in stock replenishment, promotions, and loyalty programs. Prior experience with customers is appreciated, and a 30% employee discount is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Availability to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with our product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently and proactively resolve issues for customers in a busy retail environment.
• Meet customer needs by assisting with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point of sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the loyalty program, including credit benefits.
• Minimize store loss by delivering exceptional service and maintaining a clean store.
