Job summary

Marquette-Alger RESA is seeking a Communications Generalist to advance the agency’s brand through strategic design, development, and dissemination of internal and external communications, marketing materials, and digital content. You will write, edit, and publish on-brand materials, support the strategic plan, and drive multi-channel initiatives.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications or related field.
Experience in marketing/communications and/or public relations.
Strong written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.
Social media management and marketing experience.
Proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Zoom, Google Suite, Publisher, Canva, and photo/video editing tools.

Responsibilities

Develop and produce newsletters, brochures, press materials, and marketing collateral aligned with brand standards.
Create high-quality written and visual content across digital channels with consistent tone and identity.
Cultivate relationships with media and coordinate earned media coverage.
Host, record, edit, and publish the Agency’s podcast on a regular schedule.
Provide communication and marketing support to local school districts as directed.
