Job summary

NANA North is seeking a Communications and Marketing Specialist to support brand consistency and coordinate projects across the organization. The role involves managing internal communications, content creation, social media, and event support to raise visibility of NANA North and its family of companies.

You will handle email management, digital asset organization, marketing collateral, and sponsor logistics, while working with cross-functional teams in a hybrid Anchorage environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 2-4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or administrative support (internships included).
• Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record for the past 3 years.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Comfortable using social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Responsibilities

• Maintain internal email accounts and distribution lists; support internal messaging across brands.
• Proofread content and adhere to AP Style.
• Develop and edit marketing materials; align with organizational messaging.
• Update intranet content and policies.
• Process marketing material requests and oversee internal award programs.
• Coordinate swag inventory and distribution.
• Plan and execute marketing campaigns; manage event sponsorships.
• Support events with communication and training kits.
• Monitor and manage social media; plan monthly calendars; oversee paid campaigns and reporting.
• Upload and tag photos in the digital asset library.
• Provide admin support; vendor coordination and compliance updates.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams; improve workflows.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
