Job summary

Nava Public Benefit Corp. is seeking a Communications Designer to build and manage our brand across internal and external channels.

You will ensure consistency of Nava's identity, drive visual design for projects and events, and support brand strategy through research and artifacts. You will work with design and frontend teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to deliver on-brand experiences that align with Nava's mission and values.

Qualifications

• 5+ years design experience with branding or agency background.
• Strong foundation in visual design, typography, layout, grid systems.
• Proficient in web and print design processes and tools.
• Ability to collaborate with frontend designers and printers.
• Advanced knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Sheets/Slides/Docs, and Figma.
• Experience developing brand strategy and communicating brand essence.
• Experience working with frontend developers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Nava's brand identity system across media.
• Manage brand assets including mark, typography, style guides, photography.
• Oversee external brand materials like templates, signatures, and recruiting assets.
• Lead brand strategy including audience segmentation and guidelines.
• Provide visual design support for projects and events.
• Develop internal brand processes and annual reports design.
• Create branded materials for BD decks and contract bids.
• Collaborate with People Ops on internal trainings branding.
• Support BizOps on swag programs and quality control.
