Job summary

The Atlantic Federal Credit Union in New Jersey is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead all sales and service activities at the branch, focusing on deposit growth, loan growth, and member satisfaction. You will supervise the team, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and drive operational excellence in daily banking tasks.

Provide personalized banking services to Members, train staff, and maintain strong internal controls while balancing risk, efficiency, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of related experience in a financial institution.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Requires completion of high school education.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain Member satisfaction as the priority in all activities.
• Make sound decisions on Member transactions balancing satisfaction and risk.
• Welcome new Members by onboarding per procedures.
• Perform administrative and operational functions for Membership maintenance.
• Maintain knowledge of financial products and delivery methods.
• Conduct training sessions as necessary.
• Manage balancing functions of the branch and all associates.
• Manage branch cash and negotiable items within limits.
• Ensure branch compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Ensure sound operating controls and perform audits and reviews.
• Make independent decisions per policy and procedures.
• Oversee branch safety and security.
• Lead weekly staff meetings to ensure information flow.
