Job summary

Community Financial System, Inc. (CFSI) operates Community Bank, N.A. with more than 200 facilities across Upstate New York and nearby regions. The Branch Supervisor will oversee staff, ensure branch operations comply with policy, and focus on delivering an optimal customer experience.

The role requires 4+ years in related positions, a banking background, and a valid driver license. Travel to nearby branches may be needed, with competitive compensation and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• A.A.S. degree or equivalent; specialized banking education and training.
• Valid driver license and reliable transportation.
• Minimum four years' experience in related positions.
• All applicants must be 18 years of age or older.
• NMLS registration required under SAFE Act.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise branch staff and operations, including service oversight and reports.
• Help establish growth, sales, and profit objectives for the office.
• Solicit new business from current and prospective customers; maintain relationships.
• Monitor staff performance and provide regular feedback with management.
• Maintain knowledge of consumer products and services to meet customer needs.
• Schedule and conduct staff meetings; ensure adherence to policies and procedures.
• Open and maintain deposit accounts; may assist with loans.
• Travel to other branches to support staffing and operations as needed.
