Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Branch Supervisor in Minot, ND to build strong customer relationships and promote our products and services. You will manage counter area, optimize inventory, and drive sales while upholding service standards.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and the ability to train staff, with occasional travel. Base pay starts around $70,000 with incentive opportunities based on metrics.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance.
  • 4+ years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
  • 4 year degree preferred: Business, management, administration or finance.
  • Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of external and internal customers.
  • Ability to motivate and influence others to meet branch objectives.
  • Some travel required.

Make a difference.As a Branch Supervisor, you will build new and strengthen existing customer relationships by promoting the Company's products and services to maximize sales and gross margin.In this role you will:Develop and maintain counter area through effective inventory management and strategic product placementEnsure customer service commensurate with market requirements and Company's customer service policyAchieve market penetration to meet branch, district, and Company objectivesProvide or establish training plan for all employees at locationSchedule, plan, and implement promotional activities in conjunction with suppliers.What you bring to the table:Minimum of 3 years of experience required: Some business experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance4+ years of experience preferred: Past supervisory or management experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance positions4 year degree preferred: Business, management, administration, or financeKnowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelOrganizational skillsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writingAbility to interface with all levels of both external (customers and suppliers) and internal (employees and management) customersAbility to manage, motivate, and influence others to achieve the branch's established objectivesSome travel requiredCompensation Details: The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
