Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Branch Supervisor to lead daily operations, strengthen customer relationships, promote products, and maximize gross margin at our Minot location.

You will manage inventory, train staff, plan promotions with suppliers, and travel as needed. Qualifications include 3–4+ years in sales/ops/management, a 4-year degree preferred, and knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of business experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance.
• 4+ years of supervisory or management experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance.
• 4 year degree in business, management, administration, or finance preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Strong organizational and written/verbal communication skills; ability to interface with all levels.

Make a difference. As a Branch Supervisor, you will build new and strengthen existing customer relationships by promoting the Company's products and services to maximize sales and gross margin.

In this role you will:

• Develop and maintain counter area through effective inventory management and strategic product placement
• Ensure customer service commensurate with market requirements and Company's customer service policy
• Achieve market penetration to meet branch, district, and Company objectives
• Provide or establish training plan for all employees at location
• Schedule, plan, and implement promotional activities in conjunction with suppliers

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience required: Some business experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance
• 4+ years of experience preferred: Past supervisory or management experience in sales, operations, service, management, or finance positions
• 4 year degree preferred: Business, management, administration, or finance
• Knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
• Organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing
• Ability to interface with all levels of both external (customers and suppliers) and internal (employees and management) customers
• Ability to manage, motivate, and influence others to achieve the branch's established objectives
• Some travel required

Compensation Details:

• The expected starting rate of pay for this position is $70,000 annually, depending on experience.
• This position is also incentive eligible, based on specific and relevant business metrics.
