Job summary

AAA Auto Club Enterprises is seeking a customer service oriented professional to greet members by phone and in person, assess required services, and direct them to the right area. The role may include notary and DMV-related transactions, with focus on resolving issues and maintaining Club quality assurance standards.

The position requires multitasking, strong data entry, and the ability to mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• High School GED required.
• 4–6 years Branch Specialist 2 and/or 3 or related experience preferred.
• Solid computer literacy and data input skills.
• Ability to effectively coach and mentor others.
• Proficiency in State DMV licensing system.
• Ability to work quickly and handle multiple tasks daily.
• As required, obtain and maintain a valid notary license.
• Notary Public - National Notary Association within 1 year preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Duties

• In States offering DMV license services, provides registration services to members; maintains current knowledge of DMV regulations and completes all transactions according to State DMV and Club procedures.
• Prepares TripTiks®; provides maps, tour books and other travel-related materials.
• Assists members with hotel and/or car reservations.
• Promotes and sells AAA memberships.
• Processes membership payments. Upgrades basic memberships to those with higher value (Plus, Premier, etc.); offers automatic renewal feature.
• Processes insurance payments and offers automatic renewal.
• Issues passport photos and IDP’s.
• Processes Travel Money product transactions; provides merchandise and attraction ticket sales.
• Balances and reconciles cash drawer; prepares daily deposits. Assists with daily, weekly and monthly reports.
• Performs notary services in accordance with the National Notary Association and Club procedures.
• Identifies cross-sell opportunities based on members’ product needs and service.
• Mentors and trains junior employees; assists with timekeeping and scheduling branch employees.
