Job summary

American Savings Bank in Maui is seeking a Branch Service Specialist to help customers with essential banking transactions and get to know ASB products and services. You’ll travel to Oahu for scheduled teller trainings to ensure confidence in all procedures and offerings while supporting customers in personalized banking matters.

• Educate customers on anytime, anywhere banking options with in-person guidance.

At American Savings Bank, our Branch Service Specialist is key in helping to make dreams possible for customers across the state. We're looking for teammates to join our Maui Branches! Teammates hired must be available to travel to Oahu for scheduled teller trainings, which are covered by ASB. We're looking for tellers who can work full-time.

Role of a dream maker:

As a valued member of our team, you will support customers with their important bank transactions. You'll also get to know them by being curious and asking questions about their financial needs and goals so you can suggest the right ASB products and services to improve their financial well-being. When you apply, you'll work with our team to find a branch that's the best fit for you and for ASB within Maui.

How you will make an impact:

• Make banking easy. Provide account services to customers, such as processing deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments. Record night and mail deposits.
• Provide solutions. Through building and deepening relationships, you'll identify customer needs, answer inquiries, and resolve issues. You'll explain and promote features and benefits of bank products and services and you'll contribute to meeting branch goals by referring customers to business partners as appropriate.
• Get stuff done the right way. Comply with applicable banking laws and regulations including Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering.
• Educate on anytime, anywhere banking options. Provide personalized, in-person education in digital banking solutions.

Support you will get:

As a new hire you'll get extensive teller training in ASB products, services and processes, both in a classroom setting and on the job. We'll give you the tools and support you need to be successful.
