Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Maryland seeks a proactive Business Service Officer to lead Support Professionals and execute service initiatives across branches. You will coach teams, manage performance, and partner with Market Sales and Risk to ensure compliance and exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities include interviewing and onboarding, budget oversight, and driving process improvements while upholding firm policies and values.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent education.
• Active Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and Series 10 (SU), Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch in executing strategic priorities with coaching and compliance.
• Supervise and mentor Support Professionals and Advisors.
• Interview, hire, and onboard new staff; manage performance reviews and conflicts.
• Partner with Market Sales, Risk and HR to drive service initiatives and process improvements.
• Oversee travel, expenses and budget adherence; ensure timely client inquiries are resolved.
