Job summary

Morgan Stanley in Cleveland, OH seeks a Business Service Officer to supervise Support Professionals and drive service initiatives within the branch. You will partner with Market Sales, Risk and HR to manage teams, training, onboarding and performance reviews, ensuring consistency and quality in client service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent education.
• Active Series 7 (GS), Series 9 and Series 10 (SU), and Series 66 (AG/RA) or Series 63 (AG) and Series 65 (RA) required.
• Other licenses as required for the role or by management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Branch in executing strategic priorities with coaching, consistency, quality and compliance with Firm policies.
• Supervise a team of Support and Service Professionals.
• Promote learning, development and recognition of service staff within the market.
• Oversee interviewing, selection and onboarding of new hires and advisors' teams.
• Partner with MBSO and HR on performance reviews, management and conflict resolution.
• Maintain relationships with Branch, Market, Region and Home Office; participate in meetings and calls.
• Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions and address service needs with Advisor teams.
• Oversee Support Professionals coverage for Financial Advisors in the Branch.
• Identify recognition opportunities and share best practices and achievements.
• Promote a culture aligned with Firm values, diversity and inclusion.
• Manage travel and entertainment expenses and budget forecasting for programs.
• Resolve client inquiries/requests and implement process improvements.
