Job summary

Citigroup in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Part-time Branch Sales associate to assist with account openings, service delivery, and transaction processing for existing customers. You will refer opportunities to partners and support promotional activities in the branch.

The role emphasizes compliance with bank policies, risk assessment, and strong communication with customers. Prior retail banking experience and a high school diploma are preferred; this position offers competitive pay and benefits

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of relevant experience.
• Retail banking or similar experience required.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic account opening for existing customer.
• Provide service delivery to internal/external customers to resolve account service issues.
• Execute financial transactions in accordance with bank policies and procedures.
• Refer opportunities to segment partners where appropriate.
• Create sales opportunities out of service transactions and resolve customer complaints/issues promptly and effectively.
• Support sales/service activities within the branch by participating in seminars, micromarketing events, promotional campaigns, product initiatives, etc.
• Adhere to operational controls, including legal, corporate, and regulatory procedures to ensure the safety and security of customer and bank assets.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
