Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Branch Sales Associate in Pasco, WA to connect with walk-in customers, guide product selection, and maximize sales opportunities. You will also perform warehouse tasks and report to the Branch Manager.

You will be able to adapt communication across email, phone, or in person, while supporting merchandising, inventory counts, and safe operation of equipment. Benefits start on day one with a buyer-friendly culture.

Qualifications

• Ability to work flexible hours within branch operating times.
• Lift up to 50 pounds safely and use assistance for heavier loads.
• Learn and operate powered industrial equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection and accurate order entry.
• Safely pick product and load customer vehicles.
• Maximize sales opportunities and foster customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication across emails, phone, and in person.
• Pick and stage will call orders and shipping product.
• Prepare backorders and stock storage as received.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Perform inventory counts and participate in warehouse tasks.
• Navigate multiple computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse activities.
• Maintain branch appearance and cleanliness per Grainger standards.
• Comply with safety guidelines and wear PPE as required.
