Job summary

Specialty Building Products, the leading distributor of specialty building products in North America, seeks a Minnesota branch sales leader in Otsego. You will direct the sales team, set priorities, and drive branch performance in line with US Lumber values.

You will develop pricing, grow customer programs, and maintain strong relationships with builders. This role requires 4+ years in lumber distribution, proven sales and management experience, and proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

Qualifications

• 4+ years lumber distribution experience preferred
• Prior sales experience required
• Prior management experience required
• Bachelor’s Degree; previous lumber experience will be considered
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Responsibilities

• Lead the sales department at the branch and align with company goals.
• Establish local pricing strategies and manage the local price book.
• Develop customer programs and maintain customer relationships.
• Coach and develop sales staff; recruit and manage personnel.
• Travel between branches and within sales territories up to 40%.
• Collaborate with senior management on programs and product rollouts.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
