TruGreen is seeking an experienced Branch Sales Manager in Salem, VA to lead a high-performance sales team, develop strategic plans, and drive local market growth. You will recruit and coach staff, manage forecasts, and collaborate with marketing programs to expand TruGreen services within the branch area.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, data-driven decision making, and effective customer relationship management, with travel across daily routes and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years in lawn/horticulture agronomic field or equivalent experience.
• Proven sales experience.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in using sales analytics and CRM tools.
• Ability to travel to all Door to Door routes within the market.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Sales Planning: Develop sales plans/forecasts at branch level and manage outcomes within budget.
• Marketing Program Execution: Support door-to-door, direct mail, inside/outside marketing to drive growth.
• Lead Generation: Compile lists, generate leads, support closing sales as needed.
• Customer Satisfaction: Address sales/service complaints and manage new sale cancellations to retain customers.
• Training and Development: Organize ongoing sales training focused on service and selling techniques.
• Workflow Management: Create schedules and monitor weekly sales performance per team member.
• Performance Standards: Implement metrics and corrective actions to meet approved plans.
• Staffing and HR: Lead recruitment, interviewing, staffing of 10+ reps, assess performance and advise on salaries.
