Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a skilled Sales Training Manager to ensure the effectiveness of our enterprise training at the branch level. You will work with senior sales managers to translate training into measurable improvements and apply creative approaches aligned with training goals.

The role requires developing courses for new products, maintaining training calendars and budgets, and leveraging SMEs for peer-led sessions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college; with five years of industry trainer experience and five years sales management experience.
• Proven ability to drive change: identify opportunities, research solutions, secure resources, sustain results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Train sales force and maintain sales facilities by branch.
• Present and train against established sales training methods and ideas per the ASTD Competency Model.
• Develop new courses for new products and services as measured by Branch Goals/Initiatives.
• Manage training calendar, agendas, materials, and room bookings; coordinate sessions and logistics.
• Track and assess training impact and ROI; measure contribution and retention of trained associates.
• Define core sales competencies and identify gaps; train to standards.
• Collaborate with SMEs to enable engaging peer-led training; other duties as assigned.
