Job summary

W.W. Grainger, Inc. is seeking a Branch Sales Associate for full-time first shift in Delaware to connect with walk-in customers, drive sales, and support warehouse tasks.

You will guide product selection, take accurate orders, and ensure smooth customer experiences. You will learn multiple computer systems, perform inventories, merchandising, housekeeping, and safety compliance. The role offers benefits from day one, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Availability to work any time within branch hours
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to learn and operate multiple computer systems

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience from product selection to order entry and loading of products
• Look for ways to maximize sales opportunities and build customer loyalty
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in-person interactions
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders/shipping products
• Prepare backorders and stock put-away
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment
• Perform inventory counts and housekeeping to Grainger standards
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE
