Job summary

Grainger is seeking a Branch Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service, drive sales, and support daily branch operations. You will assist walk-in customers, select products, and process orders while contributing to a positive shopping experience.

This role includes warehouse tasks and safety adherence in a fast-paced environment. You will report to the Store Manager and collaborate with a team to meet branch goals, learn store systems, and participate in merchandising and inventory

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Comfort with moving and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, order entry, and loading vehicles.
• Identify opportunities to maximize sales and encourage customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication style for email, phone, or in person.
• Prepare and stage will call orders and ship products.
• Process backorders and stock replenishment.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom upkeep.
• Perform regular inventory counts and navigate store systems.
• Maintain branch appearance and safety standards.
