Job summary

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work within branch hours.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds unaided and heavier with assistance.
• Willingness to learn and operate powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Manage the entire customer experience, including product selection, accurate order entry, and safe loading of customer vehicles.
• Look for opportunities to maximize sales and foster customer loyalty.
• Adapt communication to different audiences via email, phone or in person.
• Pick, prepare, and stage will call orders and shipping product.
• Prepare customer backorders and re-stock received items.
• Assist with merchandising and showroom replenishment.
• Conduct inventory counts.
• Learn and navigate computer systems for customer-facing and warehouse tasks.
• Maintain branch appearance by performing housekeeping to Grainger standards.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
