Boston Freightliner in Everett, MA seeks a supervisory professional for the Parts Department. You will oversee daily operations, supervise staff, and ensure accurate inventory control and customer service standards are met.

Responsibilities include handling returns, vendor credits, CORE parts classification, cash reconciliation, and continuous process improvements. Strong communication and accounting skills are essential, with a professional appearance and teamwork orientation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Five (5) or more years’ experience in heavy-duty truck parts is preferred.
• Supervisory experience.
• Must exhibit teamwork qualities.
• Shows Initiative.
• Strong verbal and writing skills.
• Computer proficiency and accounting skills.
• Professional personal appearance.

Responsibilities

• Sends return parts to vendors to obtain credit.
• Issues Return Goods Memo.
• Assists in running department efficiently.
• Identifies and classifies CORE parts that are difficult for others.
• Assists in monitoring and maintaining current levels of inventory.
• Assists in developing strategies for more efficient operations.
• Assist in supervising reconciliation of cashier drawers and petty cash.
• Assists in monitoring and adjusting inventory to minimize obsolescence.
• Communicate customer service standards to department personnel.
• Resolves customer complaints immediately and provide conflict resolution to customers according to company guidelines.
• Strive for harmony and teamwork with all other departments.
• Maintain excellent rapport with vendors.
