Job summary

State Credit Union in Columbia, SC is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to partner with the Branch Manager in overseeing daily operations, deliver outstanding member service, and drive growth through effective leadership.

You will manage staff, open new accounts, support consumer lending, coach team members, and collaborate with the Regional Team. Travel to nearby branches is required; mileage is paid.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Experience in credit unions or financial institutions preferred.
• Strong leadership, staff management and service delivery skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager and oversee branch operations daily.
• Open new accounts and support consumer lending and loan production.
• Lead by example and coach branch employees to improve productivity.
• Cross-sell products and recruit new members.
• Collaborate with Regional Team to achieve branch goals.
• Travel to Columbia area locations and other branches as needed; mileage is paid.
