Job summary

Sutton Bank is seeking a Branch Operations Supervisor to oversee tellers and branch activities at its Ohio locations. You will assign duties, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with regulations and company procedures while supporting daily teller functions and customer service.

Qualifications

• Two years of related banking experience and/or training.
• One year of prior supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of branch operations and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage front line staff members in all teller operations and duties. Assign duties and monitor performance.
• Operate a teller terminal; wait on customers, perform transactions, answer questions, and resolve complaints.
• Monitor and report security-related issues; ensure branch cameras and security systems function properly; train staff on safety protocols.
• Schedule tellers to ensure proper staffing levels.
• Maintain cashbooks, audit logs, compliance documents, manuals and logs.
• Authorize transactions outside guidelines and provide staff direction.
• Implement policies and procedures; train staff and monitor compliance.
• Work with Market Manager to achieve branch sales goals and log referrals; assist in sales campaigns.
• Conduct group meetings to communicate changes.
• Collaborate with HR to ensure annual training is completed.
• Mentor staff, address performance issues, and develop plans with HR/Operations Managers.
• Initiate corrective action when warranted.
• Resolve issues quickly with minimal impact to employees, customers, and bank.
