Job summary

Austin Capital Bank seeks a hands-on Branch Operations Manager to own the Austin branch and its deposit operations. You’ll supervise a small CSR team, manage daily branch activities, and drive efficient deposit processing and wire/ACH workflows.

Reporting to the COO, you will optimize processes, ensure compliance with BSA/AML and Reg E, and partner with the Fintech/BaaS teams as needed. On-site five days a week at our Austin, TX location.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive bank operations, deposit operations, or branch operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of core banking software, general ledger reconciliation, and regulatory guidelines.
• Strong working knowledge of Jack Henry SilverLake, including Xperience (required).
• Hands-on experience with wire transfer processing, ACH operations, and reconciliations.
• Experience supervising, coaching, and developing branch or operations staff.
• Experience working with auditors, regulators, and compliance requirements.
• Ability to identify operational challenges, determine root causes, and implement practical solutions.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• On-site availability in Austin, TX five days per week.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of daily branch operations and ensure accuracy.
• Supervise and develop the CSR team (2 CSRs).
• Manage opening/closing, cash operations, vault and teller balancing.
• Serve as escalation point for customer service issues and exceptions.
• Ensure security, business continuity, and regulatory adherence (BSA/AML, CIP, Reg CC, Reg E).
• Coordinate with BSA Officer to monitor for suspicious activity.
• Oversee wire and ACH processing and partner SLAs.
• Drive automation and process-improvement initiatives.
