Job summary

Austin Capital Bank is seeking a hands-on Branch Operations Manager to take full ownership of our single Austin branch and its deposit operations. You will supervise the CSR team, manage daily branch activities, and oversee deposit operations workflows, including wire and ACH processing, with automation and risk controls at the forefront.

Reporting to the COO, this on-site role requires deep Jack Henry SilverLake knowledge and a proven ability to improve processes while maintaining regulatory

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive bank/branch operations experience.
• Strong knowledge of core banking software and regulatory guidelines.
• Hands-on experience with wire transfer processing and ACH operations.
• Experience supervising branch or operations staff.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

• Own daily branch operations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Supervise and develop the CSR team.
• Manage branch opening/closing, cash operations, vault and balancing.
• Serve as escalation point for customer service issues.
• Coordinate with BSA Officer to monitor for suspicious activity.
• Own wire and ACH processing and partner SLAs.
• Identify automation opportunities to improve processes.
