D.L. Evans Bank is seeking an Operations Supervisor to direct branch operations, ensure policy compliance, and train staff. You will supervise operations, handle customer inquiries, and drive business development within Southern Idaho and Northern Utah.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; AA degree preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in retail banking operations (teller/new accounts).
• Knowledge of operations policies and procedures is required.
• Proven involvement in community/civic/trade organizations and business development.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Professional appearance, dress, and attitude.

Responsibilities

• Resolve customer requests and questions promptly.
• Establish and maintain professional business relationships with customers and trade professionals.
• Stay informed on lending standards and related legal requirements.
• Ensure personnel are well trained in all aspects of their jobs.
• Directly supervise branch personnel to maintain high-quality work and efficiency.
• Counsel customers regarding financial needs and services requested.
• Ensure operations comply with bank policies and legal/regulatory requirements.
• Supervise scheduling and workflow of daily branch operations.
• Provide back-up support to tellers and new accounts positions as needed.
• Compile and report financial data as required by regulations.
• Implement policy changes within the branch.
• Ensure all branch transactions balance at day end.
• Oversee cash handling accountability and reconcile balancing problems.
• Market and cross-sell other bank products and services.
• Lead with objective goals and effective communication.
• Maintain the branch’s professional reputation in the community.
• Inform management of area activities and significant issues.
• Attend and participate in meetings and committees.
