Job summary

Maxim is seeking a Branch Manager in Memphis to lead branch operations, sales, rental, parts and service for equipment and transportation. You will oversee P&L, drive profitability, and ensure safety and efficiency while coordinating with dispatch and service teams.

The role requires a BA/BS in Business or Construction Management, 5+ years in construction/rental in customer-facing roles, and 2+ years in logistics. Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential for success at Maxim.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Business or Construction Management or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
• 5+ years in construction and/or rental industry in a customer-facing role.
• 2+ years' experience in logistics role.
• Advanced communication and organizational skills.
• Advanced problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Deep knowledge of Mobile Cranes and transportation of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manages labor and equipment in compliance with Maxim policies and goals.
• Ensures branch personnel perform duties safely according to Maxim policies.
• Collects and analyzes data to make project and installation calculations.
• Reviews and compiles 'take-off' quantities, cost history, and calculations for accuracy.
• Ensures operations comply with FHWA and ASTM codes.
• Conducts site visits during installations and when issues arise.
• Supports engineers with planning, design, and tender documents.
• Assists in preparing presentations about Maxim's systems and advantages.
• Works with dispatcher and service manager to maintain project profitability and scheduling.
• Prices projects and creates contracts as required.
• Maintains Maxim safety, quality, and environmental standards.
