Job summary

Flow Control Group seeks an engineering-leaning Operations/Facilities leader responsible for maintaining documentation, compliance, and continuous improvement across multiple facilities. The role ensures safety, quality, and efficient staffing while coordinating cross-functional support and customer interactions.

The ideal candidate will interpret regulatory requirements, lead KPI-driven improvements, and oversee payroll/HR-related tasks to support branch operations. Travel up to 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, related technical field, or an equivalent work history.
• Working knowledge of ASME, API, DOT, NBIC, and federal/state/local regulations and codes.
• Demonstrates ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements to Pioneer Industrial operations.
• Exhibits ability to interpret quality audits, test results and define/communicate corrective actions needed.
• Demonstrates ability to work at all levels of the organization to influence leaders.
• Good computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• 15% domestic travel.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety and quality procedures and regulations.
• Perform safety briefings and resolve safety concerns at the facility.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization and facility appearance.
• Serve as the primary quality point of contact for the facility.
• Organize and assist with on-site and off-site customer visits.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives at the facility.
• Set process and quality standards to maintain a safe, quality-oriented culture.
• Manage, prioritize, and delegate daily production assignments.
• Oversee documentation for invoicing and payroll/HR functions to support operations.
• Ensure training on SOPs and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in capital planning and operational changes.
• Leverage analytics to monitor initiatives and establish new KPIs.
• Collaborate with sales to manage and resolve customer complaints.
