Job summary

Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an Associate Operations Manager to lead a branch team including engineering, project execution, service, and back-office staff. The role focuses on driving safety culture, customer satisfaction, and growth in a dynamic national organization.

You will manage project cost, budgets, and WIP analysis, while collaborating with sales to support(branch) profitability and asset management.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in an operations leadership role within the fire and life safety industry.
• Strong communication with diverse groups including leadership, staff, customers, and vendors.
• Knowledge of current fire and life safety systems.
• Understanding of P&L and financial drivers.
• Ability to attract, develop, grow, and retain a team.
• Ability to understand technical product lines and applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering and project management for the division.
• Supervise, train, and develop all branch associates.
• Ensure scheduling, execution, billing and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs.
• Develop a budget and meet revenue and gross margin targets.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to meet goals and maximize market potential.
• Report monthly financial performance and take corrective actions as needed.
• Responsible for efficient asset management, such as inventory and company service vehicles.
• Build a high-performance culture with performance reviews and development initiatives.
• Engage in manpower planning and allocation.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and cash collections.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support branch growth.
