Job summary

Insurance Office of America (IOA) seeks a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead operations at the assigned California branch. You will drive performance, budgeting, and policy implementation while personally managing a book of business as Account Manager up to 50% of your time.

The role requires active P&C licensing, 5+ years in insurance and 2+ years of management, plus strong communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in insurance
• 2+ years of management experience
• Active property & casualty licensing required
• Exceptional Account Management skills with up to 50% of time on a book of business
• Outstanding communication, people management, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations and team performance in the branch
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans and budget adherence
• Manage branch P&L, control costs, and achieve financial goals
• Recruit, onboard, and develop branch staff; ensure HR processes
• Maintain policy and procedure compliance across operations
• Serve as Account Manager for an assigned book of business
• Collaborate with sales leadership and regional director on strategy
• Promote IOA values and maintain high client service standards
