Job summary

Insurance Office of America in California seeks a Branch Operations Manager - Commercial Lines to lead branch operations, drive strategic plans, manage budgeting, and ensure service excellence across the book.

You will balance leadership of an operations team with direct account management, participate in producer acquisitions, and uphold IOA values while developing staff and maintaining compliance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience with deep, wide-ranging insurance knowledge.
• 2+ years of management experience.
• Active property & casualty licensing is required.
• Outstanding communication, people management and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications.
• High School Diploma (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Lead the branch's operations team and daily workflow.
• Drive annual strategic and tactical plans for the branch.
• Manage branch P&L, control costs and achieve financial goals.
• Understand and manage the annual budget and variances.
• Communicate leadership vision and promote IOA values.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop personnel; succession planning.
• Participate in producer/agency acquisitions and integration.
• Spend up to 50% of time on account management for an assigned book.
