Job summary

Mac Papers + Packaging is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee a branch distribution center in Orlando. You will optimize distribution processes, drive profitability, and lead a team of managers and supervisors to meet productivity goals.

You will analyze P&L, manage safety programs, and coordinate with departments to improve service levels, while upholding OSHA/DOT standards and company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of relevant work experience required.
• 10+ years’ operational experience in logistics or distribution with 7+ years in supervisory/management roles.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting and metrics knowledge; advanced analytical skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication; English proficiency.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Optimize branch distribution processes and procedures.
• Improve productivity, reduce costs, and streamline operations in fulfillment and logistics.
• Train, direct, and evaluate staff to meet productivity and safety goals.
• Monitor KPIs including on-time delivery, order fill rate, warehouse efficiency, and driver performance.
• Oversee fleet/equipment maintenance and compliance with OSHA/DOT.
• Lead root-cause investigations to resolve service-related inquiries.
• Analyze monthly P&L to identify opportunities for cost reduction and performance improvement.
• Promote safe work behaviors and conduct safety meetings.
• Promote safe driving and manage performance using telematics data.
• Perform other duties as required.
