Job summary

SPI is seeking an Operations Manager to lead our branch operations in the Lithonia, GA area. The role oversees warehouse, administrative staff, Customer Service, and Inside Sales, driving profitability and efficiency across the operation.

Key responsibilities include establishing performance metrics, improving inventory turns, coaching staff, and maintaining a strong safety culture. Strong leadership, budgeting, and ERP/Microsoft Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience in distribution and/or building materials is a plus.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage branch/area operating income and EBITDA to meet or exceed budget.
• Establish, monitor, and communicate performance-based service metrics.
• Plan and set objectives to meet targets and track corrective actions.
• Develop training and coaching programs to improve personnel performance.
• Implement safety programs and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Lead continuous improvement and share best practices to exceed benchmarks.
