Heritage Landscape Supply Group is seeking an Assistant Branch Manager to support the Branch Manager in achieving excellence in branch operations and customer satisfaction. You will lead, mentor, and develop staff, drive revenue growth, and ensure safety and compliance across the site.

The role requires 1–2 years in warehouse/distribution or related supervision, strong communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years experience in a warehouse, distribution, or assistant management role; landscape distribution preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage teams and execute processes efficiently.
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with ERP or warehouse management systems preferred.
• Project management skills, including prioritizing tasks and managing multiple initiatives.
• Leadership development experience and succession planning capabilities.
• Strong relationship management skills with a focus on retention and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of operational and warehouse safety protocols.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal background and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Support the Branch Manager in implementing company standards, optimizing warehouse and branch operations, and driving initiatives that enhance productivity and efficiency.
• Financial Performance: Assist in achieving branch revenue and profitability targets by monitoring financial metrics, executing sales strategies, and identifying opportunities for sales growth.
• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff, including warehouse personnel, drivers, and inside sales teams.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships, proactively addressing inquiries and resolving issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
• Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Branch Manager to develop and execute strategic plans, leveraging market and operational insights to drive branch growth and operational excellence.
• Operational Compliance and Safety: Ensure adherence to company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.
