Job summary

Ultipro in Totowa, NJ seeks a Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, staff, sales and customer service while driving profitability and growth. You will lead the operations team to meet revenue and efficiency goals and ensure compliance with safety and security policies.

You will manage scheduling, audits, inventory, vendor relations and CRM data, while coaching employees, reviewing P&L, and collaborating with corporate on credit and payables.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• College degree strongly preferred.
• 1 year in a leadership/supervisory role.
• Experience in HVAC wholesale industry strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of warehouse/inventory management and material handling equipment.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team-oriented mindset.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Office and CRM/Mincron or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day branch operations including staffing; approve hours and PTO using Kronos.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with protocols and objectives.
• Maintain sales flow, credits, negative inventory, damage inventory and cash reconciliations; enter sales calls in CRM.
• Build morale, coach staff and provide development opportunities; ensure timely training.
• Collaborate with HR on disciplinary actions; drive profitability and productivity improvements.
• Process purchase orders, monitor stock levels and receivables; audit cash drawers.
• Oversee credit issues with Corporate and maintain branch P&L visibility with ROM.
• Maintain inventory levels, cycle counts, and minimize dead stock; ensure branch is well-maintained.
• Prepare reports for ROM; participate in weekly safety meetings and timely Flash reports.
• Lead branch and warehouse appearance, housekeeping, maintenance, and repairs.
