Job summary

The YMCA of Northwest North Carolina is hiring a Branch Operations Leader for the Stokes Family YMCA in King, NC. This part-time role covers evening and weekend shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day facility operations and excellent member service.

You will greet members, support staff across departments, respond to incidents, monitor safety, and coordinate logistics under supervision. CPR/First Aid certification or within 30 days is required; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and 18+.
• Customer service experience required; strong verbal communication.
• CPR/First Aid/Oxygen or certification within 30 days of hire; DAXKO skills a plus.
• Bilingual skills are a plus; ability to stand long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests as they enter/leave the YMCA.
• Support staff across departments during shift.
• Ensure branch operations and safety procedures are followed.
• Report maintenance, incidents, and housekeeping issues.
• Handle emergencies and respond to fire alarms as needed.
• Collaborate with teams to coordinate activities and programs.
