Rain for Rent in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an Operations Manager to assist the Branch Manager in planning and executing day-to-day branch operations, including scheduling staff, procuring equipment, and handling essential documentation for billing. You will oversee all physical operations at the branch, manage field personnel, ensure compliance with DOT regulations, and drive safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Knowledge of trucking regulations (DOT/DMV).
• Experience supervising multiple trades.
• Understanding rental equipment processes.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, pumping, irrigation, and water handling products.
• 3 years direct supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist Branch Manager with all aspects of Branch operations.
• Supervise branch field and operations personnel to meet customer satisfaction.
• Interact with customers and personnel in writing, verbally, and face-to-face.
• Ensure rental equipment is repaired, maintained, and registered as needed.
• Maintain vehicle and rolling stock maintenance per regulations.
• Monitor branch expenses and provide variance reports.
• Track billable hours to ensure accurate billing.
• Train staff on branch computer systems.
• Maintain clean and safe branch and yard.
